The Carnival is a circus opera composed by Chloé Charody and developed with long time creative partner violinist/acrobat Sonja Schebeck. The Carnival debuted on London’s West End in 2011. It has gone on to run sell out shows across the globe and been hailed by press & audiences worldwide.

Be catapulted into a crazy parallel universe - a wild and whacky kaleidoscope of quirky colourful characters. Join Lucy, an unexpected visitor, on her tumultuous journey through the bizarre world of The Carnival as she attempts to find and free its sovereign, the grand Firebird. Tightrope dancing crows, oversized mermaids, nutty pixies, drunk bats, trolls and a flying violinist are only a handful of the extraordinary creatures Lucy must encounter in this world of utter madness.
